Cyber Monday 2023

I hope you and your family had a great Thanksgiving!  It’s been a great year, and we have much to be thankful for.  I need a personal assistant to keep up with my kid’s activities!  A friend of mine’s son is a top MLB prospect, and their training is unreal.  We’ve enjoyed watching him grow up and handle tremendous pressure at his games.  We will be there for his first major league outing one day!

What is new in the delivery world?  FedEx network 2.0 is slowly being rolled out into some ground stations in late 2023.  As usual, some hiccups occur when this happens.  Overall, it seems to be going well.  This will accelerate into 2024 and beyond.  The majority of the Contractors that we speak to have no plans to add new drivers or trucks to their fleet with this merge.  They can handle the increase in demand and create tighter routes.

Black Friday was a monster hit online.  According to Adobe Analytics data, shoppers spent $9.8 billion this year.  That is up 7.5% from a year ago.  This number is expected to steady this Saturday and Sunday as shoppers spend about $10 billion daily.  Cyber Monday is expected to cross $12 billion in sales.
